From here you can easily access Balmoral Castle, the summer haunt of Queen Elizabeth herself, and of course Loch Ness, home of the famous monster.

Everything that is worthwhile visiting is about two to four hours travel distance from the city of Aberdeen. Worthwhile visiting is the Scottish Highlands also, which is a picturesque area that can easily be accessed from this city, and is one which defines and exudes everything Scottish.

Coming to Aberdeen and the surrounding areas is not really that cheap, as on average you will expect to spend around three hundred dollars per day.
